New service: Evaluation and strategy for Risk Reduction in Food Safety

Companies have an obligation of health risks management. But it is also important for companies to manage the possible media impacts.

Many companies are aware of that obligation, but often don’t know how to manage this risk and particularly where their priorities should lay.

As leaving one subject out is inconceivable, it is necessary to define what are the points that will have to be evaluated and which are the ones that can be acted upon.

The service consists in evaluating all risk factors (toxicological, regulatory, societal, media, etc.) in order to establish an effective risk reduction strategy, whether those risks are technical or media-related.

Our evaluation tool, developed after several years of experience, makes it possible to highlight the weaknesses and the strengths of the risk management approach to determine an optimal strategy for a better efficiency of the actions and thus a possible reduction of the allocated budgets.

Our experts will perform an evaluation (which can last for one day to one week, depending on the size and needs of your company) using a specific grid developed by GACA for this purpose, which includes, amongst others aspects:

  • Toxicology (ingredients, packaging, additives, newformed, process);
  • Regulatory procedures;
  • Societal risks and quality approach;
  • Good practices, prevention processes;
  • …..

We can then help establish an effective strategy to reduce the risks, should a problem occur, to find yourself in the front pages of the media or, worse, in court.
